[스포츠조선 최만식 기자] '롱스로인'은 올 시즌 잉글랜드 프리미어리그(EPL)에서 유행으로 떠오르고 있다.
과거 2000년대 로리 델랍(49)의 전매 특허로 널리 알려졌던 롱스로인이 이번 시즌 EPL에서 부쩍 증가했기 때문이다.
영국 언론 '더선'은 흥미로운 통계까지 제시했다. 2000~2001시즌 문전 박스 안까지 연결된 롱스로인은 경기당 평균 1회 미만이었지만 올 시즌에는 4회로 증가했다는 것이다.
