Son Heung-min of Los Angeles FC (LAFC) has won Major League Soccer (MLS) Goal of the Year for his debut goal in the league.

MLS announced on October 28 via its official website that “Son Heung-min's first LAFC goal is forever in the history books,” adding that “The South Korean superstar has won 2025 AT&T MLS Goal of the Year honors for his stunning free kick in a 1-1 draw at FC Dallas on August 23.”
